What We Do.
Site Evaluation: One of the most important steps in building a home is site evaluation. Rick will work with you on your current property or potential properties to ensure that you maximize views, creating a visually appealing setting from inside and outside while staying mindful of additional construction costs some properties may require.
Home Design Plans: After a site has been selected we work with you on the design of your home. Together, we work with our residential designer to create home building plans that reflect your lifestyle and how you would like to live in your home ensuring that we meet your expectations of size, design elements and cost. We can also work with you on existing plans that you may have and we house a library of over 100 home plans that can be modified for your home site.
Cost Analysis: We work together to establish how you want to live in your home and how you envision all the design elements coming together. From these conversations, along with your home plans we establish a cost analysis of your home. Working together enables us to establish realistic costs that you can expect to include all elements of the construction of your home from start to finish.
Pre-Construction and Construction Management: We manage all aspects of the construction of your home including obtaining engineered site plans, site topography, building permits, filing and ensuring compliance with state erosion control requirements, submitting for architectural review boards, and design assistance in your selection process for all the important elements that make a well appointed home.
Rick, along with our construction superintendent, who has been a part of our team for over ten years, is on our construction sites daily for management of the construction process. Rick and Kim meet on site and at vendor locations with clients to assist in selections for your home. Periodic meetings are scheduled to review the progress of your home. Our office is conveniently located behind Publix on Founder’s Row and serves as a home base for our clients during the building of their homes.
Cost Analysis Tracking: An equally important part of the building process is the tracking of the expenses on your home. Periodic reports are produced showing actual costs compared to the original forecast. These timely reports allow us to remain on track and have the ability to revise priorities if needed.
